We are honoured that our design for the new Ilkley fountain has been selected through public vote, and that there will be a celebration of the moors, and more specifically sphagnum moss, at the centre of our town. We have been working with Improving Ilkley to adapt the design for large-scale and have made two trips to discuss the development with fabricator James Wilkinson in North Yorkshire with trustees, an architect and and an engineer. We believe that to enable further and constructive discussion around the fountain, the next stage should be a small model which would be an exact replica (in the proposed materials) of the proposed final design.
